Description
Aside from the tarnishing, this awesome tea pot looks like it just came out of the factory. The hallmarks date it as 1792 and the maker is Thomas Parr II. It has incredible artwork engraved on it and it is monogrammed in script on both sides, The handle and top piece look like they are made of bone or horn or something similar. There are 5 hallmarks on the bottom. The next to last photo shows the 4 that date it (this is a print off the internet not from the actual teapot). The last one is the makers mark TP in script (this is from the teapot) which identifies it as Thomas Parr II. There are also some other marks scratched onto the bottom - No. 8 in fancy script, E/G/ and another mark all in fancy script, 2330 dl very small in the center. It measures 11" x 3 1/2" x 6" and weighs just over a pound.
