    Description

    Here we have an Ultra RARE Green Tree Dairy (Pittsburgh, Pa) Galvanized Metal Milk Cooler Porch Box for auction....it measures about 14" x 14" x 10" with a hinged lid....It is embossed with raised lettering on one side "Property of Green Tree Dairy" and on front shows "green colored lettering"(some letters worn).  Green Tree Dairy was a local dairy operating in western Alleghney County about 10 miles from downtown Pittsburgh for years; went out of business post WWII, early 1950's era to early 1960's.  Interior show some soiling but not bad and no holes or rust thru....slight surface rust on lower one edge (surface) but not bad at all!!!   Great Collectible from a long gone era when milk & dairy products were delivered to your front porch!!!!  Selling as is with No Reserve!!!  Good Luck Bidding!!!!
