Rare occupational shaving mug for a barometer thermometer maker. Looks like an American made EC Spooner barometer . Possibly a unique 1 of a kind occupation.  Name has been scrubbed off as sometimes happens when a family feels shame at selling personal heirlooms. Very slight traces of letters may make a name reconstruction possible. The glaze has not been scratched. Some outline of the barometer rubbed out at right. Loss of gold gilding. Limoges blank mark on bottom.  M
easures 3 5/8" tall. No chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations.
