    ard-to-find pairs of handsome individual sterling silver asparagus tong in the Dresden pattern by Whiting. The length is 4 1/4”. The condition is excellent; the pattern is crisp with great oxidation. Notice the beautiful piercing on the ‘grippers’. There is a pretty intertwined script monogram on the top 'bend' of the tongs. The marks are the old Whiting symbol - STERLING - PAT. 1896.
