This is a vintage Japanese book cover made of real soft brown leather for Japanese Bunkobon paperback books (文庫本) from Japan. Bunkobon books are
A6 size (105mm × 148mm or 4.1" × 5.8") and this cover is specifically made to fit them.
It is NOT large enough to fit a typical American paperback book.
The leather cover itself measures about 164mm x 120mm.
The cover is decorated with an embossed picture of a mother rabbit carrying a basket of carrots and her baby with the workds "WORKER RABBIT". On the inside there are pockets to slide the cover of a book into as well as a triangular attached leather bookmark embossed with a carrot. . There are minor scuffs and spots, particularly on the interior of the book cover, but it is still in very good condition without any rips or tears (See the photos for the condition). Comes
