  • Condition: Good-Very Good overall antique cond: Offered for your review & consideration is this very handsome & very well pres, orig & auth late 19th-early 20th c Chinese antique, ink stmpd, paper cvrd tea advrtsng wd box shipping crate. It continues to remain in wonderful, very well pres overall antique cond. There's minimal sidewall paper loss, which acts as evidence the box was prev handled & is in fact an antique, period Chinese artifact. Prod most likely for Chinese export, its charcoal blk ink stmpd paper cvrd sidewalls, feat the initials 'W. T. & Co' as the int'l importer of the Chinese tea. The box was prod at the end of the 19th c to possibly as late as the early 20th c, circa 1885-1915 & feats a buff colored paper, ink stamped w/charcoal blk & mint grn ink. 1 sidewall feats a soldier or warrior w/helmet, sword & scabbard under a table shaded by a parasol, w/other travelers seen below. A tall pagoda's seen towering in the bckgrnd. It's orig wdn lid's now missing. An outstanding artifact.

    tea. The box was produced at the
    end of the 19th century to possibly as late as the early 20th century, circa 1885 to 1915
    and features a buff colored paper, ink stamped with charcoal black and mint green ink.
