Offered is an Antique ~ Collectible ~ nicely stamped in front position: T&OC Ry ~ Toledo & Ohio Central Railway ~ Tall Globe - Bell Bottom Lantern made by the STAR HEADLIGHT CO. ROCHESTER. N.Y.U.S.A.  Stands 11" tall to top of dome and has 6-3/4" bottom diameter.  The lid & Bottom is also stamped: 2 COR.  It appears the bellbottom has a uniform star pattern of 5 holes and were filled in by a previous owner or by a Railroad shop worker?  I've seen this before, not sure what the intent was?  The clear cast ext. base globe is real nice, having a bold strike in a rectangle border panel and no major damage.  E Miller 1" Burner has a small dent on one side of top dome and works good with a wick.  Twist-off bell bottom is real nice too showing wear from age and use.  Overall a real nice condition lantern and harder to find than the drop in pot bell bottom frames.  Offered "AS IS, AS SHOWN IN PHOTOS".  Ships well packed for transport with signature confirmation and insurance provided with the label.  Cost depends on your location.  Thanks for Looking!
