No collection of fantasy banknotes is complete without this
spectacular, super limited edition SPECIMEN (only about 15 or so), full-color fantasy RESERVE BANK OF NEILLAND note honoring world paper money authority/collector Neil Shjafer on his 80th birthday!
This neat-looking pretend piece, about the size of an older large-size U. S. bill (approximately 7" long x 3" high), is a special creation from the Reed Banknote Co., Sarasota and includes a security hologram!
This is a piece of banknote art and not an actual banknote.  Mr. Shafer and graphic artist R. J. Reed combined to produce this work which incorporates a few of Neil's favorite banknotes
.   Chances are, if you've been involved in the hobby for very long, you have read an article or book by this skilled banknote authority and member of the International Bank Note Society Hall of Fame!
Again, this is a piece of banknote art and not a genuine bill, despite it's realistic appearance.
This professionally laser-printed fantasy looks real, is great for display, and won't cost you much (and you won't have to worry about it getting stolen!).  The back of the bill depicts a train with Neil and his wife Edith riding in the engine.

SPECIAL DISCLAIMER CONCERNING ART, NOVELTY, PROP, & OTHER NON-NOTES:
Rarely we come across buyers who have unrealistic expectations about the quality of non-genuine banknotes that we sometimes offer for sale.  These include movie prop notes, common novelty bills, Chinese hell notes, political notes, replica notes, reprint notes, and fantasy art bills.  Due to the fact that these "notes" are not issued by some monetary authority for use as real currency, they can not be held to the same print quality or paper quality standards as a genuine banknote printed by one of the big banknote companies like American Banknote or Thomas de la Rue.  Quality can vary depending on the type of "funny money" bill but they will definitely not be up to the standards of a banknote that has been created by fine-steel engraving.
