TIFFANY Aesthetic Sterling Silver Gilt TEA SET

Description

A rare three piece Tiffany & Co. sterling silver gilt tea set composed of a teapot, sugar and cream jug with piercing on the swing handle of the teapot and the handles of the sugar and creamer. Marked with the Tiffany mark, M for Edward Moore and the number dated to 1878.
All parts marked with French control marks.
The teapot is also marked "& other metals."

eight 37.2 troy oz.
Height of teapot 61/2" with the handle and 3 1/4" without the handle. Length 8 1/2".  Length of creamer from spout to handle 6 3/4".  Condition: Overall good condition, no monograms; a couple of tiny dings in the base of the teapot and creamer.
