TT PK 35s 1947-49 GUADELOUPE 100 FRANCS SPECIMEN PMG 66 EPQ GEM POP TWOND 1947-1949 100 Francs from Guadeloupe, Caisse Centrale De La France D'Outre-Mer. Pick # 35s. and Serial Number # O.0 00000. SPECIMEN. Graded 66 Gem Uncirculated by PMG. And this is a population of two with none graded finer according to PMG population Report. Splendid over sized rare Specimen Banknote from Guadeloupe, with great margins on a white fresh paper that still holds its color as if it was printed today! Embossing is very strong and it can easily be seen through the plastic holder. Such in an Outstanding condition. The word "Guadeloupe" is in red overprint on the front of the note and also is on the top margins and side margins of the note. The word "SPECIMEN" is in black bold overprint handstamp sideways on the front and back of the note located on the right and left side. And also the word "SPECIMEN" was perforated on the center of the banknote. The note is printed in the french language. A lot of lovely designs and colors can be admired. La Bourdonnais portrait is at left and to the right there are two native women. One of them has a bare breast on the portrait. The back of the note shows another woman looking at the scenery of a lake and mountains. Red and brown on Multicolored. La Bourdonnais at left, two women at right. The type of note pick number 35 Guadeloupe is much more available than the specimen! With that said, this Banknote is very scarce, And rare to find in this grade. Very desirable among collectors.
