    This listing is for a lovely mid-Century Sanborn Mexico 3-piece Sterling Silver coffee/tea set with the coffee pot, creamer and covered sugar in classic "melon" shape.
    (1) Coffee Pot - Measures 8 1/2" high, 9 1/4" wide (at handle) and 4 3/4" deep. Weighs 511 ounces.
    Marked with Sanborn's 3-owl trademark stamp and "Sanborn, #1072, Sterling" and "Made in Mexico". Pot is in excellent condition.
    (2)  Sugar bowl - Measures
    4 1/2" high,  5 3/4" wide (at handles) with the base being 2 1/2" in diameter.
    Weighs 432 grams.
    Marked with"Sanborn, Sterling" and "Made in Mexico".
    Sugar bowl has very small crease/ding in middle of body (see photos).
    (3)  Creamer - Measures 3 1/2" high (at spout),  4 3/4" wide (at widest) with the base being 2 1/2" in diameter. Weighs 270 grams.
    Marked with Sanborn's owl trademark stamp, "Sanborn, Mexico" with the lower portion of the stamp illegible. Creamer is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and is in excellent condition.
    This is a very heavy set with a total weight of 1213 grams. The set is in overall excellent condition reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear.
    Established in 1931 by two American brothers, the Sanborn Dept. Store remains a successful business today in Mexico City. Fred Davis took over management in 1933 and helped Frank Sanborn expand business in both high quality jewelry and other silver wares to showcase Mexico's artisans.
