The item that is offered is a very delightful and quite fun, vintage 1950’s, gilded gold, embossed, MADE IN USA, birthday greeting card.
It features a very delighted ethnic (possibly Pennsylvania Dutch) couple that is square dancing.
Notice the couple’s colorful but rather old fashioned clothing.
The woman is wearing a long dress with pantaloons, and an apron as well as bonnet. The gentleman is wearing a multi-buttoned jacket with his pants as well as a porkpie hat.
The dancing couple is surrounded by flowers and gilded curlicues. All of the images on the cards front are embossed, and some of the flowers and curlicues are gilded gold.
On the inside of the card are pictured additional square dancing couples, an accordion player, a young maiden, and a courting young man.
All the people are surrounded by blooming flowers that may be randomly gilded gold.
This a folded four sided card with a spray of flowers on the card’s back.
