VINTAGE C. 1960-70 TRADITIONAL JAPANESE DOLL PAIR ON STAND - HEIGHT 11"
All original stationary figures in a traditional Japanese arrangement.
Height is measured from tip of standing figure’s headpiece to bottom of stand. Seated figure holds a fan with jade bead tassel. In very good condition, except for a tiny exposed tip of wire on the standing figure’s fabric left thumb. Her left eye has a ‘mascara’ smudge’ (original) also. The seated girl has lovely hair detail. Wood base is 5½" by 2½".
As I cannot remove clothing, from what I can see they are primarily made of fabric-covered wire and the standing figure’s lower body is styrofoam above her shoes.
No odor, mold or mildew. Smoke-free, pet-free home.
