Vintage Chinese Lacquered Hardwood Jewelry/Vanity Box - Carved Gilt Decor, 10"

Description

Vintage or antique lacquered jewelry box, China. Likely dates to 1st half of 20th century. Features carved floral motifs with gilt brass handles. Gilt floral accents adorn the glass doors. Top opens to reveals a gilt-adorned hidden mirror. Drawers are signed in black ink. Heavy oxidation and gilt wear consistent with age. Some minor wear and losses to wood at the base from usage (please see photos). Otherwise very good functional condition with no major breaks or losses of any kind; all gilt brass appears original with no evidence of restoration. Measures
