. Asian leather pillow box. Do not know where it was made.
. I have had this vintage box for 42 years and have taken extremely good care of it. It looks like a new piece.
. Box can be used for storage of documents, jewelry, valuables, collectibles, or trinkets.
. Leather and red/gold domed oblong box (pillow box). A Chinese pillow box was originally used to rest your head
on at night while sleeping. This offered an easy way to store and guard valuables from theft.
. Box has lock key front and handles on the side.
. The box has all original parts.
. I believe the box may be hand painted, but not sure.
. Measures approx. 20"L, 7"H, and 6 1/2" D.
. The inside of the box is completely lined in leather.
. As you can see in the pictures, the box is very unique.
