    Description

    This is a nice long vintage handmade Kimono in a mauve/pink floral silk. It has large red and white flowers throughout the fabric. In the background is a design of flowers in black outlines. The inside is lined with a gorgeous red and pink fabric. The red lining suggests that it is a pre World War II piece.
    It has white thread edging/stitching at the collar area, sleeve edge and hem.
    Following are the measurements. I took them from the back side of the kimono.
    Length, 61 inches at back from top of collar edge to bottom edge
    Shoulder width, 24 inches from shoulder stitch to shoulder stitch
    Breast, 23 inches from armpit to armpit
    Waist, 22 inches
    It is in excellent condition with only a small stain that I could find, shown in the last picture.
