2 KENNEDY MACHINIST BOX'S WITH TOOLS.Someone is going to score on this one.
I have my Dad's Machinist tool box and some of his tooling. He passed away last year and we are just parting out some of his things that the family doesn't want or will use.
The box's are Kennedy and vintage. Dad was 91. They are painted Detroit Diesel (Alpine Green) Sounds kind of funky, but they look nice. I was a Detroit Diesel Mechanic. I guess he intended for them to go to me.
UPDATE*** I have lightly brushed them both with a brass wire brush (By hand, not drill motor), so as not to disturb the wrinkle finish, wiped them down with acetone and re-shot them with light primer and a new Alpine green finish. This is Engine paint, It won't come off. Now I would like to keep them, but I'll never build another engine and on a fixed income I need the funds. I'LL ADD BETTER PHOTOS TOMORROW.
Top box missing one screw for the front lift off handle, and bottom box missing center drawer handle. Nothing major. There is a very slight dent on the top box at the rolled corner. Other than the obvious, the boxes are in very very good shape. I DO NOT HAVE KEYS FOR THEM
THE TOOLS:
These are all used tools, but within spec. They work freely and accurately.

This is the best honest description I can give you. It sounds like a lot, but honestly the amount of tools doesn't look so impressive to me. I am giving my opinion, that is why I have a 100% score.
Feel free to ask any questions if needed. I am NOT a
machinist but I was an engine builder. I will do my best to answer all.
