  • Condition: The sugar bowl is in very good antique condition with no monogram or removal, no dents, a base that sits flat, consistent gold washed interior. There is some scratching from use, and also perhaps from polishing, but the design is still crisp. A small amount of wear to the gold wash. One handle is slightly bent out of straight at top, but you don't notice this unless you're looking really closely and comparing the two handles.

    This two handled sugar bowl is 5" long from handle to handle and 3 1/4" high with a width of 2 1/2"; it weighs 84 grams.
    This bowl has Neoclassical Adam's style decoration popular about a hundred years ago in American silver.   As well as being a sugar bowl, these small sterling bowls also make nice vases for small floral arrangements.
    It is marked Sterling and for Webster Company on the bottom.
