    Silver plated Coffee Service ~ turn of the century German excellent condition.
    WURTTEMBURGISCHE METALL WAREN FABRIK is the Hallmark of this beautiful service. This company was renowned for silver plate kitchen items. They boasted several thousand workers in 1900. To improve production they innovated with electro silver-plating. Other manufacturers followed and with the same pattern but I have not seen one from this factory.
    Plenty of information on the Internet. The hallmark was difficult to find but the ostrich in the middle finally gave it away.. The coffee pot has a Bakelite handle and cover pull. The coffee server is 8.5" tall and 10" wide. Sugar is 3" tall and 7.5" wide. The creamer is 2.5" tall and 5.5" wide.
