    Description

    Up for auction a wonderful yellow Mun Sau porcelain soy sauce jar with four (4) auspicious characters on the sides.  Shou meaning longevity, Wan meaning innumerable and Jiang combined with Wu meaning limitless, all which appear on modern contemporary Chinese porcelain decorations from about 1985 to 2000.  The screw-on top has a channel so with a slight turn you can pour the oil, soy sauce or vinegar without spilling.
    The jar measures 4 1/4" high, 2 3/4" in diameter and weighs 5.3 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in a 6x6x6 box.
    This piece is in very good used condition without cracks, chips, flakes or repairs.  The unglazed porcelain on the stopper and neck both have a slight discoloration.  The stopper screws in smoothly without hesitation.  The decoration is bright, clean and well executed.
