    This is one of the authentic products of Orrincrafthouse's talented craftsmen, and this khukuri is the standard issue to the Gurkha Army.The blade of the khukuri is balanced, and hand forged by talented local khukuri knife crafters of Nepal (born as traditional craftsmen, who are known as KAMI (Black Smith) locally for many generations.
    High carbon steel RC-5160 is used for the blade which is also used for  suspension springs on SUVs and Sedans. Local wood known as Sadan is used for the handle. It is full tang, very reliable, and strong. The scabbard is natural leather off-white in color.The craftsmanship on this blade/knife is astonishingly amazing. You could add this beautiful blade to your collection or give as a gift or use it for hunting or any outdoor activities where permitted. You will not be disappointed at all.

    Made of Carbon Steel 5160 metal, full tang handle,This is the tactical kukri which comes along with two small utility knives, karda (sharp knife) used for skinning and small detail, chakmak( blunt knife) used for sharpening the blade.
    Good grip and high sharpness to cut any kind of material. Use oil on the blade regularly to prevent it from rusting. Use a grinder, or sandpaper to clean the rust. Extremely easy to handle.
    Nepalese Khukuri Knife:
    This unique traditional blade is also known as
    kukri
    . The knife has a unique distinct recurve in its blade. It serves multiple purposes. The blade has traditionally served the role of a basic utility knife for the Gurkha warriors. Khukuri is the national weapon of Nepal, also consequently is a characteristic weapon of nepalese forces. Besides its native region, kukri also sees service with the
    Royal Gurkha Rifles of the British Army
    and has tested many battlegrounds from many years back till present.
    Its Uses:
    Khukuri, mostly popular from its use in the military, it's the most commonly used multipurpose tool in every household in the foothills of himalayan region fields and homes in nepal. Its uses vary from chopping fire logs to clearing bushes also used for digging, slaughtering animals for meat consumption, chopping vegetables and meat. It is  in use basically as a general farm and household tool.
    In modern days, people use it when they go for hunting, fishing and many outdoor activities where permitted by law.
    Khukuri Parts:
    It's 100 percent hand made by himalayan region local artisan, black smith
    ( known as Kami whose family name is Biswakarma) are the traditional inheritors of the art of making this beautiful Khukuries for generations and generations. It's completely hand forged. 5160 high carbon steel is used for blade, Rosewood and buffalo horn is used for handle and for the sheath is buffalo hide and treated natural leather.
    On top of Khukuri knife and scabbard, two small knives which are included to your purchase and has two of its own place in the scabbard. One is known as
    "Karda"
    which is sharp and mostly it's usage is for skinning and some other small work whereas
    "Chamak"
    which is blunt use for emergency sharpening the blade if necessary.
